In March, I sought the Alberta Liberal and Green Party nominations for Red Deer North for the upcoming provincial election. I also approached the Alberta Party, but their provincial executive decided to appoint a candidate.

The decision to run is not something that I made lightly. Running for public office is a serious matter. I have become deeply concerned about the direction in which our province has been headed. However, I realize that it is not enough to just criticize. It is important to offer positive alternatives for change.
