In January, I successfully sought the Alberta Liberal nomination for Red Deer North for the upcoming provincial election. It is not a decision that I made lightly. Running for public office is a serious matter. I have become deeply concerned about the direction in which our province has been headed. However, I realize that it is not enough to just criticize. It is important to offer positive alternatives for change.
